Why Give on-line?

If you wish to donate on line your one-time donation will be processed through STRIPE. If you wish to do a recurring automatic deductions you will be able to use your favorite credit card. Your recurring donation will be automatically deducted in any manor you choose (weekly-monthly-yearly etc.) for the donation amount you choose and how many recurring donations you choose.

Your support, contributions, and prayers will enable us to meet the needs of those God puts in front of us and within our ministry. Your generous donations are tax deductible. 100% of your donations goes directly to the operations of the Christian men’s home. The home is staffed primarily by the residents themselves. Your donations are tax deductible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a donation to Sheltered by Jesus L/A tax deductable?

Yes. The home is a 501c3 non-profit organization. You can report it as a charitable donation. Unity Bible Church will be making donation receipts.

Do I have to give $19 or $228 amounts?

No. You can give any amount you would like. The suggested $19 per month is what would home 1 individual for a month and the suggested $228 is to home 1 individual for a year.

Can I use a check to make a donation instead of using STRIPE?

Yes. You can make a check payable to Sheltered by Jesus L/A and mail it to: Sheltered by Jesus L/A, 100 Pine Street, Lewiston, ME, 04240. You can also bring your check donation to Unity Bible Church and drop it off in our tithe box–be sure to write “for Sheltered by Jesus L/A” in memo area–Sunday morning service at Unity Bible Church begin at 10AM.
