A MEN’S CHRISTIAN HOME IN THE HEART OF LEWISTON, MAINE
Sheltered by Jesus L/A is a men’s Christian home located in Lewiston Maine. The home opened March 19, 2018 by God’s grace and for His glory. We are a 15 bed facility for those that need a stable place to call home. The Lord Jesus Christ has called His church to love the church and love the lost. We offer physical, emotional and Spiritual support to men that have lost their way in life.
15 BED FACILITY
The home is open 24/7. Men are not asked to leave each day, with no assurance of a bed that next night.
3 MEALS A DAY
We serve 3 meals a day, and the public is welcome as well. The home is a faith based facility for God’s glory and we do not accept any government funding. We are funded by local churches and people led to donate to God’s ministry at the home
DAILY BIBLE STUDIES
We have Bible studies Mon. – Fri. nights and a worship service followed by a meal on Saturday evening. We do not require anyone to make a statement of faith, however they do attend prayer, Bible studies and the weekend worship service.

We aim to provide a sustainable environment. A warm place for one to sleep and eat. A place to contribute and help one another get back on their feet. We have no paid staff. Our residents are our staff and the funding comes from donations.
